Training
We paddle regularly on the Yarra River from the Ivanhoe Northcote Canoe Club (INCC). We have all equipment to hire and if you join INCC you can also use club equipment.
We use a Whats app group to communicate session times and other training and racing updates.
If you are an experienced paddler please contact Liam to arrange a paddle session to meet. If you are new to paddling or limited experience you will need a lesson before joining in the training sessions.
Liam coaches a number of paddlers, talk to Liam about a coaching consultation.
Lessons
Liam takes 1-3 people out for 1 hour lessons. The cost is $100 for 1, $50 each for 2 or 3 people, Liam will often put individuals together in the one lesson to save money and time. The focus is safety and technique so you can come and join the regular training immediately. Liam will then continue to assist you with your paddling to reach a good level, that might be recreational or racing, it’s up to you.
The lessons will usually take place on the Yarra River based out of INCC, however Liam can meet people anywhere if it can be arranged.
We have many different types of kayaks and surf skis so we can teach and paddle in rivers, lakes and the ocean.

Events
Kayaking has many fitness benefits, you can take it as serious or relaxed as you want. If you want to race, Liam will support anyone keen to race, sprints, marathon or multi-sport events, book your coaching consultation to find out more.
Kayaking also provides the best way to explore the country, through tours and training camps you will enjoy the adventures it brings.
Liam organises multi-sport events each year which include a kayak leg. The King Valley Challenge is our main event each Spring. We have organised many tours and training camps over the years so get involved to find out more.
Equipment
We own all the equipment you need to get started. Kayaking is actually a relatively cheap sport, and we will help you keep it that way. We sell all the equipment you need:

We also have plenty of second hand equipment going cheap, and if we don’t have what you want we can help you find the right product at the right price for you.
We organise paddle tours all over Victoria, this is my favourite spot on the Glenelg River.
